Through Aspire Mentoring Academy, employees are changing the lives of students every day. The program is a key part of AT&T Aspire, the company’s $350 million commitment to help students succeed in school and beyond.  As of today, AT&T employees have reached a milestone – providing students who need it most with one million hours of mentoring.  Thanks to their dedication, more young people are reaping the benefits of having a mentor.

Through Aspire Mentoring Academy, AT&T works closely with MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) and leading education nonprofits, to pair young people with AT&T employees who help them discover their passions and potential. These meaningful mentoring experiences takes place at AT&T work locations, in schools, in the community, and through secure online platforms. The structure offers opportunities for every employee to be involved whether they are a member of the executive leadership team or a technical engineer.

In addition, AT&T is the Premiere sponsor of the 2016 National Mentoring Summit, an event founded and convened by MENTOR that brings together approximately 1,000 top researchers, policy makers, practitioners, the network of affiliate Mentoring Partnerships, corporate partners and many other national youth-serving organizations.

AT&T Aspire and the Aspire Mentoring Academy continue to leverage technology, relationships and social innovation to help all students make their biggest dreams a reality.
