Are you ready to make a positive impact in the life of a youth by becoming a mentor? Being a mentor is a rewarding experience for both the mentor and mentee and the Volunteer Referral Service (VRS) is a great place to find exciting mentoring opportunities.

The VRS is a free service that connects interested volunteers with programs in their area. The VRS automatically sends inquiries from prospective mentors such as yourself  to one or more of over 5,000 mentoring programs nationwide that are part of MENTOR's National Mentoring Database.

To find mentoring opportunities, you may conduct a zip code search; to narrow the search results down, use the VRS advanced search. When you find a mentoring opportunity that interests you, please create an account or sign in if you already have a profile.

The VRS allows you to share mentoring opportunities with family and friends that you believe will be interested in becoming a mentor. On subsequent visits to Mentoring.org, you can express interest in other opportunities using the profile you created - there is no restriction on the number of mentoring opportunities you can express interest in.
