MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) will recognize select corporations for their outstanding contributions to advancing quality mentoring opportunities for young people during the 2015 National Mentoring Summit, the signature annual gathering for the mentoring movement to be held in Washington D.C. January 28-30, 2015. The Corporate Mentoring Challenge, originally launched by First Lady Michelle Obama at the 2011 National Mentoring Summit, is open to private-sector companies of any size that pledge to begin supporting youth mentoring in the U.S. in the coming year, expand an existing initiative or renew a commitment. Companies currently engaged in youth mentoring may submit the details of their programs to be considered for special honors. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. EDT on October 7, 2014.
