A member is a mentoring organization wherein, young people are matched with caring, committed adults. Members must agree to the criteria set forth in the Elements of Effective Practice.

A. Members attend or send a representative to at least three of the five Community-Based Mentoring Meetings or at least three of the five Faith-Based Mentoring Dinners per year.
B. Members actively participate on at least one committee or volunteers in another capacity with The Mentoring Partnership of New York.
C. Members agree to recruit mentoring program participants for various MPNY events.
D. Members agree to make presentations as needed at MPNY's Mentoring Information Sessions.
An Associate Member is an organization that is in the beginning phases of launching its mentoring component or needs assistance in strengthening an existing mentoring program.
Membership Responsibilities:
A. Associate Members must agree to fulfill the criteria set forth in the Elements of Effective Practice within 3 years of active membership.
B. Associate Members attend all five Community-Based Mentoring Meetings per year or all five Faith-Based Mentoring Dinners per year.
C. Associate Members must actively participate on at least one committee, or volunteer in another capacity with The Mentoring Partnership of New York.
D. Associate Members must agree to regularly scheduled meetings twice a year with either the Faith-Based Mentoring Services Manager.
