The Fifth Annual Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit, taking place on July 17, 2008, from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Battery Gardens. Battery Gardens is situated in the southernmost point of Battery Park in lower Manhattan, offering incredible views of the river and the Statue of Liberty. This is a unique event that celebrates the life of Luke Boisi, who tragically passed away at the age of 21. Luke was the brother of Zachary Boisi, the former-Director of The Mentoring Partnership of New York (MPNY), and the son of Geoffrey Boisi, the founder of MENTOR/ National Mentoring Partnership. Mentoring had a great impact on his life and he spent the last few years of his life committed to helping others, through his service with AmeriCorps.

The purpose of the Memorial Benefit is twofold: to celebrate Luke's life and to introduce the event's attendees to the powerful cause of mentoring. Over the past years, hundreds of Luke's friends and family have come together for the Memorial Benefit, and we would like you to join them.

The evening will feature a four hour top-shelf open bar, along with a catered buffet style dinner with passed Hors D'Oeuvres and a silent auction featuring an incredible array of items including Mets and Yankees tickets, restaurant packages, luxury vacations, and other exciting items. We will also be featuring New York City mentoring programs, who will answer all your questions about mentoring and explain how FUN and EASY mentoring is.

Come join young professionals from the New York area for a wonderful evening celebrating Luke's life and embracing the cause of mentoring.
