Faith-based Mentoring Services

In 2001, The Mentoring Partnership of New York created the Faith-Based Mentoring Services to assist faith-based organizations in developing and enriching mentoring programs through training and sharing with others engaged in similar work. If you or your faith-based organization is interested in more information regarding Faith-Based Mentoring, please call 212.953.0945 or e-mail us.

Mentoring is a way faith-based organizations provide services to youth. Faith-based organizations have always been instrumental in giving social services to their communities. Religious organizations are at the forefront of providing direct service to people in need. Mentoring can be a great way to help foster relationships within the congregation, create stronger bonds with the local community, and strengthen ties with other religious organizations throughout New York City, all while providing necessary relationships for youths.
