The Mentoring Partnership of New York (MPNY) proudly produces several tent-pole events through the year to help sustain our efforts.
The Mentoring Partnership of New York is fortunate to have our Young Professional Advisory Board (YPAB) produce their signature event called the Luke Boisi Memorial Benefit, which is a unique event that celebrates the life of Luke Boisi, who passed away at the age of 21 in 2003. The benefit occurs every summer and has grown tremendously over the years from 160 guests in 2004 to over nearly 400 attendees in 2011. The YPAB also produces the annual Friend Raising Event – a Beer Bash – which takes place in January, which is National Mentoring Month.
Mentor's Day, our annual January event gathers 700 mentors and mentees to enjoy a day out and to celebrate National Mentoring Month. For the past 3 years our Mentor’s Day event has been held at Dave & Buster’s in Times Square and we are tremendously grateful for their support and help with this terrific event.
The Mentoring Partnership of New York also produces the Corporate Mentor of the Year Awards each Fall season. This is an opportunity for us to showcase a few of the unique volunteers in New York City who have entered into a mentoring relationship and honor them for their contribution to a young person’s life.
