Champions Golf Challenge
Celtics legend Bill Russell and investment banking titan Geoff Boisi assembled some of the greatest champions in the sports and business world to play in the inaugural MENTOR's Champions Golf Challenge. This unique celebrity-amateur competition, sponsored by Ernst & Young LLP and Roundtable Investment Partners, LLC, was being played at the exclusive Friar’s Head golf course in Riverhead, Long Island on September 19,2011.
Like last year, proceeds from the upcoming 2012 tournament will benefit MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, the lead champion for youth mentoring in the United States, which Boisi founded with Raymond G. Chambers 20 years ago. Bill Russell has served as a Founding Board Member since then, because of his unparalleled commitment to mentoring and our nation's youth. In addition, the tournament will benefit the local mentoring partnerships of Long Island and New York City. Ernst & Young joined Roundtable Investment Partners LLC were co-presenting sponsors of the unique event. Please see photos of last year's exciting event.
