JP Morgan Chase Hosts Luncheon to Support the Creation of the Illinois Mentoring Partnership

Accenture, the multinational management consulting and technology services company, pledged its support and a financial commitment September 27 for the creation of an Illinois Mentoring Partnership, joining JPMorgan Chase and other funders who are making the Partnership a civic priority.

Mark Anderson, Accenture's director of U.S. Local Markets and Chicago, made the announcement during a luncheon hosted by JPMorgan Chase and MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership at Chase Tower in Chicago. The event included local leaders from government, the corporate sector, the foundation and philanthropic community, and nonprofit organizations.

Attendees and speakers included JP Morgan Chase's Senior Vice President Francee Harrington; Accenture's Mark Anderson; the City of Chicago's Chief Service Officer Jenné Myers; student and mentee Deneen Borner; the Honorable Alderman Roderick Sawyer of Chicago's Sixth Ward; MENTOR’s Board Chairman Willem Kooyker; and MENTOR’s President and CEO Dr. Larry M.
