What's available in our Resource Center?

Virginia Mentoring Partnership (VMP) has developed a Mentor Resource Center that contains materials to help guide a group or individual through the Nuts and Bolts Checklist for Mentoring Programs. VMP has gathered Training research, sample forms, sample program outlines, and other programmatic details to help mentoring programs be of the highest quality. Below is a condensed list of the many resources housed in our resource center. Each checklist corresponds to one of the 10 Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring Programs.

Elements of Effective Practice Tool Kit
The EEP Tool Kit: How to Build a Successful Mentoring Program Using the Elements of Effective Practice contains tools, templates and advice for implementing and adhering to the Elements of Effective Practice. Download (PDF) in English or Spanish.

SafetyNET
In partnership with the FBI, MENTOR is pleased to make nationwide FBI fingerprint-based background checks available to any mentoring program in the country. Through SafetyNET, each FBI background check costs $18, and results are delivered within 3-5 business days.
