  1. Mentors and mentoring program staff members can create the conditions needed to support Native youth through an ongoing exploration of:
    • The geographical and political landscape
    • Critical mentoring practices
    • Their personal identity and worldview
    • Native youth identity development
    • Their local and national resources
  2. If you have not already done so, please download and review the companion reflection guide and use it as a resource to continue your own exploration. We also encourage you to review the additional resources from each chapter.
