Supporting MENTOR makes sense from the head…and the heart. When you give to MENTOR, you can be assured your gift will help expand the world of mentoring. Here's why:

According to a recent National Mentoring Poll sponsored by AOL Time Warner for MENTOR, 15 million young people are still waiting for a mentor to help them succeed.

Finding enough mentors is a challenge. But the good news is that the same poll found that 57 million adults would seriously consider mentoring if they had access to an array of support services.

Even better, MENTOR and our vital network of State and Local Mentoring Partnerships already are providing the very resources these potential mentors are seeking: a range of mentoring options (that take into account the adults' schedules and interests); quality orientation and training services; and expert assistance throughout the relationship.

You can support mentoring by donating to your State or Local Mentoring Partnership or to the special Mentorship Fund for Katrina’s Kids which directly supports mentoring programs affected by Hurricane Katrina. Other opportunities to donate include making a contribution through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) or a donation of stock.
