MENTOR Texas Affiliate Development
In April 2023, Founding President & CEO, Lauren Love Richard, was hired to lead MENTOR Texas and an advisory board and leadership council have been assembled. This summer, MENTOR Texas will initiate a statewide listening tour with a wide range of stakeholders to document mentoring needs and set priorities for further action. Concurrently, the affiliate will be engaged in a strategic planning process to determine strategies and tactics to eventually provide services in the following areas: training and technical assistance, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and data collection.
