CAREER READINESS
Research over the last 30 years has demonstrated that mentors, both in and out of programs, can have a meaningful impact on many aspects of career readiness, such as improving academic performance and persistence, helping youth build social-emotional relational skills, and growing their self-confidence and ability to set and pursue goals. Mentors are also instrumental in exposing youth to a variety of careers, building their interest and sense of belonging in specific fields, and deepening their commitment and active pursuit of career paths and transition into post-secondary endeavors.
We know that young people are the future and they deserve to be connected to caring adults that believe in their potential. Join us in creating opportunities and strengthening supports for youth as they explore their passions and discover possible career paths.
